As you may have noticed, the music industry is dead. My attempts to explain this can be found on my blog but to be brief, it seems to me increasingly absurd that a company should stand between the creators and consumers of data, restricting the flow and skimming off profit.

I shall not, therefore, be seeking a record company to release or record this album. It will come to fruition through a mixture of new models, experiment and the ancient and eternal art of blag.

Fuck it, we're gonna do it anyway.

David Koresh Superstar
is a concept album in the tradition of its near namesake. Taking the Waco siege as it's starting point, it asks: what would we think of Jesus if we knew that he definitely wasn't the son of God? What if the messiah was wrong? Set during the halcyon '90s after the fall of the wall and before the fall of the towers when people had stopped believing in God and many were believing in anything - DKS is about faith, self-destruction, anger and the follies of stupid young men.
